Batch #12 - Cyser

I decided to make a traditional cyser using local fresh-pressed apple cider and honey from my own hives.

Recipe

Fermentables

  • 2 gallons fresh pressed cider
  • 3.5 lbs wildflower honey

Yeast

  • Lalvin D47

Brewday Notes

This is a really simple recipe. I simply poured the honey and cider into a sanitized 3 gallon fermenter and shook vigorously to mix and aerate.

I re-hydrated the yeast with 1tsp of yeast nutrient.
